New Zealand

I started snowboarding about ten years ago when I was in 5th grade and have been hooked ever since.  I am lucky to live in Colorado where we have some of the best snow and mountains in the country.  When I was in Wisconsin on vacation my friends showed me their mountains or what I would call a hill here, lets just say I am fortunate to live in Denver.  Something else I would like to do more is travel, of course what is a better place to travel to than New Zealand.  After watching a few videos and looking at pictures it is a place I need to see with my own eyes.  Everything I have seen or heard about New Zealand makes it seem like the place to be, even if Alaska has the best terrain or most powder, snowboarding in New Zealand is near the top of my bucket list.

  1. Cosnow,
New Zealand Would be an amazing place to visit, however I grew up in Alaska so I am over being in the cold. I've never snowboarded before but I have skiied. In elementary school up north our gym class opyions were snowboarding, skiing, or ice hockey. I tried the skiing one year and the hockey the next. It was a blast. I would like to try snowboarding out especially since I too live in Colorado where we luckly have the option. New Zealand sounds like a perfect place to put on your list of things to do before you kick the bucket!
